Welcome to The hi.SS Website hi.SS stands for Hearing Impaired Support Scheme. It is run in conjunction with the Audiology Department, Southmead Hospital. Trained volunteers visit patients in their own homes to support them with hearing aid use. They can do basic repairs, fit new earmoulds, give advise on support services/ equipment for the hard of hearing. The scheme is open to all people who have NHS hearing aids and live within the North Bristol Trust Catchment area. |
